Other things to consider
The above list covers all seasons & so you may wish to edit it according to the season & your personal needs.
- You may wish to bring old workout clothes as inclement weather may mean you will get wet or muddy.
- If you intend to purchase new trainers / walking boots prior to the retreat, please ensure that they are well “worn in” to avoid “new shoe “blisters.
- This year due to 5 consecutive very warm mild winters we have seen a rise in the type of bugs who find us attractive & so we would advise packing an insect repellent… if you don’t want to use the chemical variety as an alternative you can use oil of citronella, plus most large pharmacies sell the ankle / wrist bands which are impregnated with this oil and they last between 15 – 30 days. A useful website which sells products including natural bug repellent / after bite etc plus they ship worldwide is… http://www.naturisimo.com
- Every guest suite has a washing machine / drier so you are able to wash & dry your kit, very useful if you are travelling with hand luggage only.
