What is Reiki?

Reiki is a healing energy which channels out from the practitioner’s hands onto the client’s body. Reiki is a Japanese word that translates to Universal Life Force.

There are 7 main chakras in the body, which are mostly well-known, and are positioned over the major glands of the body, however there are actually over 60,000 mini chakras all over the body. They are like spinning vortexes of energy that feed vital life force to organs, glands and parts of the body.

Reiki helps to balance the energetic system of the body and quite often, the client can feel the reiki as a form of heat, cold, or tingling sensations. It is a very relaxing treatment and the client is met with feelings of calmness and of safety.

Since Reiki works on an energy level, sometimes this can trigger energetic emotional releases, which is a healing energetic shift for the client.

Our Reiki Master practicionar Michelle Lodge Gonzalez has been passionate about health and wellbeing since she was a young child. If any of her parents or sibling weren’t feeling very well, she brought out a large book of healing secrets from their library and looked at the different acupressure points, herbal remedies, dietary indications etc.. to help them get better. It seems that she never liked the idea of suffering and that she wanted to help anyone to overcome it quickly.

Michelle first initiated in Reiki when she was 12 years old, this was the start of her journey as a health practitioner.

As a Reiki Master practitioner, Michelle is able to feel energetic blockages and assist in their release. When a blockage finally releases, this can be felt typically as a stomach rumble, or a twitching.

Reiki is for everyone, for any age, for any symptom. It greatly assists with the energy/emotional aspect and helps with areas such as sleep issues, high stress, and feelings of emotional instability.
